Organic Bamboo fibre is an excellent choice for a mattress cover due to its hypo-allergenic, moisture absorption, temperature regulating, and natural smelling properties. It is a renewable resource that can be replenished quickly and is an eco-friendly alternative to plastics. At only 15cm deep, the Noomi mattress is also a great option for bunk beds.
The Noomi mattress is OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it has been tested for any harmful substances or toxic chemicals that may negatively impact your health. Additionally, the mattress is delivered roll packed, which reduces emissions during transportation while also minimising the amount of packaging required.
Natural latex, sustainably sourced from the rubber tree, is used in the Noomi mattress and offers minimal motion transfer, allowing for an undisturbed sleep. It also provides excellent edge support to prevent sagging or rolling off the edge of the mattress.
The Noomi mattress only requires rotating 1 to 2 times per year and does not need to be flipped. As it is roll packed, it may take up to 72 hours for the natural latex to fully expand.
